Having bad breath isn’t fun for anyone
When someone has a bad smell coming from their mouth, it’s not a lot of fun to have to talk to them at a close distance. But what if you’re the one with bad breath? Other people won’t enjoy coming close to you to talk to you. Good oral hygiene is important if you want to smell fresh, but there are other ways to prevent smelly breath as well. Try these five tips if you don’t want to feel self-conscious about your breath.
These 5 tips might be able to help you to prevent bad breath.
- Clean tongue
Many people brush their teeth twice a day, but a lot of people forget to brush their tongue while they’re at it. And that’s exactly where it goes wrong. If you have bad breath, most of it is caused by the residue on your tongue. Clean your tongue by slowly scrubbing with a soft toothbrush, moving from the back to the front. This will hopefully already make quite the difference.
- Eat less sugar
This is a tip most people probably won’t like. Eating a lot of sugar can cause your breath to smell. Sugar causes the bacteria in your mouth to ferment, and this can cause some nasty smells. Is one of your go-to solutions to bad breath chewing on some gum? Then you should make sure you pick a sugar-free type of chewing gum.
